“Hollywood Babylon,” is a book that describes life in that fair city as blissfully rife with scandal and innuendo. Written in the sixties, by Kenneth Angers, the man who first turned film land gossip into an art form, it was followed by a sequel in 1984.
It seems very little has changed over the years and if there were to be an edition number three, it would be a hot seller. All we hear out of Hollywood these days is stars either on drugs, in meltdown, rehab or jail. The head lines tell it all.
Much has been written about pop princess Britney Spears over the years, and she is just one of the many young stars who cannot seem to get their act in order.
