Last April I wrote an article on ingress patterns, showing people, “The Cosmobiologist’s Secret To predicting.” Ingress charts are calculated four times a year for the precise time that the Sun moves into a cardinal sign (0 degrees Aries, 0 degrees Cancer, 0 degrees Libra, and 0 degrees Capricorn)
I was fortunate to be part of the reformed, Regulus Ebertin Study Group, which met at the home of top Cosmobiologist, Doris Greaves’s home in Red Hill, Victoria Australia during the 80’s where we embarked on a course of study to see if the ingress chart, used in conjunction with the natal chart could be a vital tool for predicting life’s events for the next three months.
We found that that the ingress charts were an extremely valuable and worthwhile tool for predictive techniques, not only for personal readings, but also for following mundane events such as forecasting issues for the country in which one lives, during that three month period. (A countries horoscope can be found in, “The Book of World Horoscopes,” by Nicholas Campion.)
To be used effectively, the aspects of each ingress chart are discussed in detail. Then planetary positions for ones own chart is placed on the 90 degree dial, on a bi-wheel with the ingress chart. (Always put the ingress chart on the outside and the natal or mundane chart on the inner.) When there is a planetary contact with one’s natal chart or a mid-point connection, then predictions are made using key words.
During the 90’s I travelled with Doris Greaves to America where we lectured in many states on this very subject. We usually gave an ingress reading to those who were present with great success.
We had no details of the participants only their birth details, but still we able to give accurate and personal details of the events surrounding their lives at the time. Some details were so personal we were unable to share them with the group but, we were given feed back immediately after the lecture.
The ingress we are looking at during this quarter is cast for 23rd June 2006, at 10.25.12 pm in Canberra, ACT, Australia, which is the seat of government. Instead of a natal chart I have put the chart for Australia on the inside. I use the federation chart 1/1/1901 at 12.01 am, GMT, London. There are several charts in existence for Australia, but this is the one that works for me.
Australia is a Capricorn country, meaning that the day federation was proclaimed, the Sun was in that sign, however there are many planets in Sagittarius, which shows the openness and fair-go syndrome as part of the Australian psyche.
The sign of Libra rising in the chart, gives the Australian people an easy going, she’ll be right attitude and this is a common thread amongst the Australian people.
.
There are some astrologers who prefer to use the chart with the Aries Ascendant, but having lived here in Australia for over 30 years I find the Libra Ascendant to be far more valid.
The greater populus here in this country are very laid back and like to take the easy way out. We have a huge population who are on welfare benefits for some reason or another. Sure there are many hard working individuals, but that is reflected in out Capricorn Sun sign.
Also, we do have many very talented individuals in the arts, fashion, music, movie and television world thus reflecting the cultural side to the sign of Libra. To have an Aries Ascendant we would need to be far more motivated than we are and have a pioneering pulse.
Even though migration comes under the sign of Sagittarius, on a national level, the sign of Libra would also show our acceptance of the great migration pot which began to bubble in the early years of European settlement. Even today, people from all around the world are welcomed to our shores each year. They help shape and mould our national character.
If we look at the ingress chart for the Cancer period, we see two distinct patterns that will have an effect on our lives over the next few weeks. The major one is called a stellium, as it involves several planets, starting with the Moon and finishing with Mars, and includes Jupiter, Chiron and Saturn in the fixed signs. This also links by semi-square and sesqui-quadrate aspects across to Pluto, which can cause violent and disruptive behaviour.
Saturn, planet of frustration and discipline takes approximately two-and-a-half years to transit one zodiac sign. Since 17/7/2005 Saturn has been in the sign if Leo, which is ruled by the Sun.
Normally we associate this as a time when gold is in high demand pushing up the prices around the world, but as they have been already unusually high, we have seen an escalation in another area, liquid gold. Never, to my knowledge, has the price of crude oil been so high, nor have we been so reliant on oil and its products.
Australia is a land of plenty and the landscape in general is very flat. In hindsight we should have one of the best rail system in the world. However, gradually over a period of years we have seen many major rail systems closed thus cutting out vital links to many major cities and ports, making the people heavily reliant on the road transport network and it’s crude oil products.
The other problem, which will also have a bearing on difficult times, is the lack of water. It is obvious at the moment that there are no people with vision elected to our government system. The resolution to the water problem it seems, is to have restrictions. Well, sooner or later this band-aid approach will have an adverse effect.
Life cycles are for living. However, always with the good times go the not so good times and in a few short years we are heading into some very troubled waters and stormy times.
When Pluto, planet of force majeure heads into the disciplined sign of Capricorn starting 27/1/2009, this problem with the crude oil and lack of water, is going to have a huge impact on the difficult times ahead.
The Australian economy is extremely healthy at the moment but cracks will begin to show as early as 31/1/2011 until 1/7/2011 and then again 23/11/2011 until then end of 2014.
During this period, Pluto will be joined in the cardinal signs by Saturn in Libra and Uranus in Aries. A similar pattern occurred in the sixties when these three same planets were in the mutable signs. History tells us that under these conditions it was a time of uncertainty and considerable unrest.
A wise astrologer once told me, “during troubled times, minimise debts and take all precautions to maintain a simple life style plan.”
In other words, if we know that we are going to be in a constant state of undesirable change, make sure that life is not stored in a “house built on sand.’”
In the Cancer Ingress of 2006 we see the Moon’s Node to the Ingress Sun which often dictates a very public airing of people’s private lives. Certain public figures will get involved in public events, whether they like it or not.
Australia played host to the wedding of the year when Hollywood actress, Nicole Kidman married county and western singing star, Keith Urban on Sunday 25th June 2006. The traditional religious ceremony, honouring the sanctity of marriage, was carried out at St Patrick’s Church in Manly, Sydney. Guest flew in from all around the world and the media had a field day. Photos of the big event were beamed all around the world giving a, “feel-good” aspect to the Sun/Node aspect.
On the opposite side of the coin, this same pattern, saw on United States television, a very public exit of Star Jones Reynolds from “The View,” a popular American television chat show. From a very polished, and professional show, suddenly there was disunity, disruption, total mayhem and the terminating of associations, which sadly is the more negative of the Sun/Moon’s Node aspect.
Over the past few days, we have had a similar situation where a disruptive factor has occurred between the Prime Minister of Australia, Mr John Howard and his deputy leader Mr Peter Costello. Mr Costello believes it is time for Mr Howard to step down from his very popular position of prime minister, so he can have a turn at running the country.
It was not that long ago when Paul Keating did a similar thing and forced the popular labour Prime Minister Bob Hawke to take a back seat. The economy crumbled and we do well to remember Paul Keating’s infamous statement about, “the recession we had to have.”
Rather than arguing with the Prime Minister, and giving away the surplus money in the budget, the treasurer should use the energy to try and find ways to invest in infrastructure and stop the leaks in the dyke.
Other patterns worthy of looking at over the next few weeks are; Ingress Uranus, planet of restlessness and rebellion, to the Uranus of the Australian horoscope. This usually means a time of change to one’s environment and as this pattern can go on for quite some time, we have seen many people unhappy with the new industrial laws bought into force by the federal government.
The Neptune = Moon, can lead to self deception, instability, airs of grandeur and exploitation in business deals. Another slow moving aspect which highlights inconsistency in all walks of life, including government dealings. The Australian Wheat Board and “oil-for-food” scandal will continue to be in the news. We may never know the truth about this issue.
The Ascendant of the chart to the nation’s Venus gives us some protection from the adversity shown throughout this quarter. It also highlights people of prominence and social interaction. Melbourne is host to the Picasso exhibition which is a nice diversion from all the tension and troubles of everyday living.
Some other aspects to watch out for as we progress through the ingress in this quarter are:
- Full Moon aspects 11/7/2006 - 9/8/2006 - 8/9/2006. Accident prone periods, more bombings and accelerated tension in the Middle East.
- Sun = Neptune 12/7/2006, coincides with full Moon indicating conflict that is difficult to pin point who is right and who is wrong.
- Mars crossing fixed star Pleiades and square royal sign Regulus 27/7/2006 often brings tension associated with violence.
- Sun= Jupiter and Moon’s Node close to Pluto 3/8/2006, a time to watch serious fluctuations in the stock market.
- Followed closely by the Sun to Saturn on 7/8/2006. This aspect could also have an effect on the financial markets and also the loss of an elder statesman somewhere around the globe.
- Mars = Uranus 13/8/2006, revolutionaries and fighters for freedom
- Mercury = Saturn 21/8/2006, difficult day for negations because of obstinacy. Slow progress on matters of importance.
- Sun crossing Pleiades 23/8/2006 also gives tension in negotiations.
- Mars = Pluto/Moon’s Node. 30/8/2006. An extremely difficult period during this quarter.
- Sun = Uranus 5/9/2006. Sudden and unexpected events.
- Sun = Pluto/Node 18/9/2006 again, much like when Mars is in aspect to these two planets, difficulties arise in many areas.
- Sun moves into the sign of Libra 23/9/2006 - new ingress pattern.
This article has been written in the hope that it gives some information for people to try and avoid some of life’s pitfalls during the next three months.
