Opera lovers around the world were saddened to hear the news that Luciano Pavarotti had died and although he was born in Modena, Italy, on 12th October, 1935, his talent and his rare gift, belonged to the world.
Times were tough during his formative years but despite the depression and World War II, Pavarotti says, he has only good memories of his upbringing.
Pavarotti started singing in the local church with his father at around nine years of age, but his genius was not recognised until much later.
He dabbled in many things before he took singing seriously.
On the day that this larger than life character was born the Sun was in the sign of Libra and the Moon in Aries. Astrotheme website lists his time as 1.40 am which would give him a Leo Ascendant.
If this timing is correct it, makes him a triple fire sign and that certainly fits his personality. The ambitiousness of fire sign people is well justified by natural ability and the shear strength of the Leo Ascendant, invariably commands respect.

Wilson was born on 18th November, 1968 in Dallas Texas to parents Laura and Robert Wilson and I think most astrologers would agree that this was a powerful day, with both the Sun and Moon in the sign of Scorpio. Elvis was born in a two roomed house on 8th January, 1935 in Tupelo, Mississippi, the second of identical twins. His brother Jesse Garon was stillborn, so being an only child, the bond with his mother was extremely strong.

It is with great sadness that I announce the death of Doris Greaves, Cosmobiologist and ASTROLOGER extraordinaire, last Wednesday night, 11th July 2007, at 9.00 pm in Canberra Australia.
At the time of her death Neptune had come to the Sun by Solar Arc as well as Vertex = Neptune and Ascendant = Venus which indicates an abundance of experiences in the spiritual and psychic world. The transits of the hour Jupiter, Moon, Node, Ascendant also indicated a spiritual release from this earthly plane. A happy event.
Doris was born in Melbourne, Australia on 29th July 1919 at 2.04 pm to parents May and Harry Varey. On the day she was born the Sun and Moon were both in the sign of Leo, but it is the degree of the Moon along with Mercury, Saturn and the Mid-Heaven that tells the story, all being on the fixed star, Regulus. (29 degrees Leo)
In her own book, “Cosmobiology into the 21st Century” she describes the fixed star as one of the major marking stars of the ancient world, which gave power to kings, princes and heads of state. It is also gives the ability to rule. No wonder she was known as the Queen of Astrology on this side of the world.

This article starts with an apology to my readers as I have not been able to keep up with writing this column as much as I would like this month.
However, every now and again my chart tells me that it is time for another adventure. So I will share with you my story and what I have been up to whilst not writing. Instead, this is Cosmobiology at work.
I was born in Auckland New Zealand at high noon, on 20th April 1945. My father was Croatian and my mother born in New Zealand from English decent.
It was toward the end of World War Two, when Father met mother who was a waitress in one of his café’s in Wellington and Auckland.
She had gone up to the north island in search of a better life, as a lot of young girls did during those war years. Little did she know what an exotic and amazing adventure she was getting herself into.

America is in mourning once again, over mass shootings on a school campus. It was only a short time ago, whilst driving back to Melbourne from Sydney that I read an article on mass school shootings around the world and the statistics said that roughly, three quarters of those shootings were in America. Sadly, we can now add one more.
Cho Seung-Hui was born in South Korea on 18th January, 1984. he moved to America with his family when he was eight years old. His chart tells us that on that day the Sun was in the sign of Capricorn, the Moon in Cancer, and Mars in the sign of Scorpio.
On the positive side, this combination can give great courage to overcome adversity but on the negative side, it can be a volcano waiting to erupt. Deep intense passions can be seething inside and beneath the cool and austere appearance can lie lurking, a burning drive that keeps emotions in tight control.
