Michael Jackson Horoscope

Like a comet blazing across the evening sky, gone too soon.
Like a rainbow fading in the twinkling of an eye, gone too soon.
Shining spark and splendidly bright, Here one day gone one night.
Like the loss of sunlight on a cloudy afternoon, gone too soon.
Like a castle built on a sandy beach, gone too soon.
Like a perfect flower that is just beyond your reach. Gone too soon.
Born to amuse, to inspire, to delight. Here one day, gone one night.
Like a sunset dying with the rising of the moon.

Gone too soon – Michael Joseph Jackson, American recording artist and entertainer extraordinaire, died on the 25th June, 2009 and is now immortalised in the words of his own song – Gone to Soon.

The genius that became Michael Jackson showed up in the horoscope in many ways but so to the ability to be exploited by others.

On the day he was born the Sun was in the sign of Virgo and the Moon, which rules our emotions in the sign of Pisces. Many words can be used to describe this combination, imaginative, intellectual, intuitive, introspective and apprehensive which is certainly a cross pollination of feelings.

Through the analytical qualities of Virgo, Jackson was able to reason things out by cold logic, absorbing all he needed to know with facts and figures but then through the receptiveness of Moon in Pisces, he had this incredible insight.

He just knew that what he was doing was going to work. People with this Sun/Moon combination can be touched by a wide range of sympathies and there is a charitable streak in everything they do. These individuals can have a real deep seated sympathy for human nature.

Michael Jackson was very generous to others and it was widely reported that he raised millions of dollars for beneficial causes through his many charities and foundations. His warm rich talent was enhanced by Mercury (intellect) and Venus (love) in the sign of Leo, which is all about extravagance. This made him outwardly confident with the ability to exploit the sense of the dramatic. Also with Venus in Leo, he loved to dress splendidly, always with more than a touch of the flamboyant.

But each planet does not live to itself alone and it is in the combinations that really tell the story. Despite having these lovely Leo qualities, Jackson had the Sun in Virgo so deep down inside he was very sensitive as to how others saw him. Later in life he became very critical and looked for perfection in every thing he did. Jackson was born on August 29, 1958, to parents Joe and Katherine.

He was the seventh of nine children, Rebbie, Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, La Toya, Marlon, Randy and Janet. Controversy surrounds the time of birth and even the state of Indiana could not agree on the time changes for daylight savings back in 1958; however the 11.53 pm chart with +5 hours, used by many astrologers, seems to be indicative of his personality and lifestyle. This time gives him a Gemini Ascendant and puts the Moon and the Ascendant, very close to Saturn.

Many articles tell of his sad and lonely childhood. From a school project published on the internet this is what was said about day light saving time in Indiana. “From 1942 – 1945, Indiana and the US were on daylight time to conserve wartime electricity.

In 1949 the Indiana State Legislature placed Indiana in the Central zone. From 1949 to 1957, the state was riddled with both Central and Eastern areas, some practising Daylight time – some not. In 1957, the legislature put the entire state on Central Standard Time – but made only Indianapolis a participant in Daylight Saving Time.” Fortunately, Cosmobiology does not need an accurate birth time as 75 per cent of the information is already contained on the 90 degree dial.

With so many different house systems and often the inability to get a correct time of birth is one of the reasons that make the Ebertin system so appealing. Also; the brilliance of the Ebertin system is not so much in the delineation of the chart but in the patterns made by the planets and personal points on the 90 degree dial as well. In the book, “The Combination of Stellar Influences,” Ebertin describes the pattern Saturn/Ascendant/Moon – feelings of depression caused by the environment, changes of mood, anxiety and then with this pattern across to Neptune there can be a sickness of the soul, along with the inability to develop or mature emotionally, which sort of sums up the dark side of his life.

With the double earth combination of Sun in Virgo and Mars in Taurus, it was amazing how he was able to rise above the difficult aspects in his chart to leave the world a musical legacy, but of course it came at a cost. The medical institutions are very quick to hand out medication that so often is highly addictive and so a vicious circle begins.

Over the past couple of months that part of his life, has been well documented. Recently the coroner in Los Angeles handed down his findings and ruled that Jackson’s death was a homicide, but to date no one has been charged. Unfortunately his need to be needed and the path that he took were open to exploitation by others, and this inturn lead to his bizarre and strange communal life. Michael’s life has come full circle.

He died as he lived, in love and in controversy. On September 4th with his family and friends around him, he was finally laid to rest at the Forest lawn cemetery, in a glittering gold coffin, more than two months after his death.

According to mourners, the hour-and-a-half service was simple, but touching and emotional. In the words of Henry Longfellow: “The heights of great men reached and kept were not attained by sudden flight, but they, while their companions slept, were toiling upward in the night.” Michael Jackson – Rest In Peace

NB: Gone to soon was dedicated by Jackson to the memory of Ryan White, a teenager who died following a battle with HIV/Aids.
