Paris Hilton Horoscope

Ever since Conrad opened his family home in 1907, to traveling salesmen, miners and railroad staff, or anyone who needed a bed for the night, the name Hilton has become synonymous with controversy, fame and fortune. Several generations later, great granddaughter, Paris Hilton is hitting the headlines, making sure the name stays up in lights.

Born on February 17th 1981 at 3.00 am in New York City, New York, to parents, Kathy and Rick Hilton, Paris is every inch an Aquarian. Words like unpredictable, eccentric, progressive, aloof, rebellious, are just a few of the descriptions that sum up the Aquarian traits and she is all of these.

With the Sun in Aquarius and the Moon in Leo, her intellect and emotions have a constant struggle for centre stage. She is warm hearted, proud and independent and has the unique ability to throw a sort of glamour around the people she takes to heart, thus accentuating the allure and mystique that is, “Hollywood.”

We talk a lot about inherited factors playing a big part in out personality and here we have a classic example. Conrad Hilton has the Moon = Moon’s node, in his natal chart which is a very public profile, and now great granddaughter, Paris has the same aspect so it was only a matter of time before she would hit the headlines, in some shape or form. When Conrad Hilton was born on 25th December, 1887 in what is now known as the state of Texas, the Moon was around 11 degrees of Taurus and the Moon’s Node 10 degrees of Leo.

When Paris was born nearly 100 years later the Moon was on 9 Leo and the Moon’s Node 10 degrees Leo, so not only is this the same pattern it is also on the same degree. Conrad Hilton had another pattern on the 90 degree dial which showed his extraordinary ability to earn money and that was Jupiter/Neptune. Described in Ebertin’s book, “The Combination of Stellar Influences” this is the visionary or speculator’s aspect.

We talked about this aspect in the chart of James Packer, who inherited several billion dollars from his late father Kerry. James is currently wheeling and dealing making more bucket loads of money. Jupiter/Neptune could be labelled, “The Midas Archetype.” Paris though, has a different pattern. She has Jupiter/Saturn but again, is often found in the charts of people who inherit money and can further develop ones inheritance.

They say Paris is really only famous for being famous and has been quite good at gaining publicity one way or another, but this latest controversy and subsequent jail term is one she could do without. Sadly today, many young people, seem to have too much money and to much time on their hands. Paris Hilton is just one of a string of young Hollywood rich and wild girls. Others in the “Brat Pack,” include, Britney Spears, Nicole Richie, Lindsay Lohan whose wild party antics are continually making headlines. Much of this totally wild behaviours probably stems from Pluto in the sign of Sagittarius, which gives the urge to experience life.

The sign of Sagittarius has always been known as the lucky sign and people born under this sign seem to have a knack of going through life to the beat of an easy drum. We have all heard the saying, “lucky Sagittarians.” Pluto, on the other hand represents regeneration and renewal and in an abstract and universal way, stands for sex and money. So when Pluto entered the sign of Sagittarius in November 1995 and became its bed mate, we have seen an explosion wealth, sex and power.

If we look back over the past 10 years or so, we can see this all taking place before our very eyes. Television has taken on a life of its own with the reality shows gaining momentum and voyeurism becoming an every day occurrence. We can’t seem to get enough of other people’s lives.

Big brother they say is watching you, but it seems we are all hooked on, “Big Brother” the reality show. Paris Hilton had her own reality show entitled, “The Simple Life.” Computers have also taken on a life of their own with internet/email, and broadband being used by most progressive countries, however we have also been exposed to the dark side of Pluto in Sagittarius, with monetary scams, pornography and paedophilia being out of control.

Cameras on mobile phones have also been used for dubious activities. The older generation of astrologers look forward to the movement of Pluto into the sign of Capricorn, late in 2008 when slowly but surely, law and order will emerge from chaos. Paris Hilton was arrested for drink/driving back in September 2006, her license suspended, and placed on probation for 36 months. She violated the court order and was picked up for speeding in February 2007.

Subsequently at her recent trial, she was sentenced to 45 days in jail. Looking at her chart on the Aries Ingress for March, 2007 we see that the Mars/Saturn was very close to her natal Venus. This is usually an indication of hard work, manual labour and separation from loved ones which of course, spending time in jail will do.

Unfortunately for Paris, on the day she was born, Neptune was very close to her Ascendant which can be a very addictive aspect. Ideally she should avoid drugs and alcohol and channel her energies into more sensitive and productive outlets. Neptune close to the Ascendant can also make one vulnerable to living in a world of one’s own where escaping from the harsh realities of life is the name of the game.

This week however, we will see Paris back in the headlines as her prison sentence is about to take effect, along with the harsh energies of Mars/Saturn. According to the newspapers if she behaves herself she will only do half her jail term but which ever way it goes, her natal Neptune Ascendant is about to get a reality check.
